British Sports Cars. Tell me more...

What car?

I recall reading that the VXs were a little more comfily padded and had AC (power steering too, which is a bit of a shame as they're light enough not to need it), whereas the Elise does without. They also have ABS too, which for a ham-fisted oaf like me does appeal.

Not as simple as that.
No air con on any VX but option on S2 Elises.
Rover engine S2 Elises have no abs or servo assistance. Toyota ones have both.
Im pretty sure neither VXs or Elises have PAS.

Ta. Not concerned with Elises as I'm much less a fan of the looks than the VX. I really thought I recalled that VXs has PAS & and AC for some reason, although I guess those reviews are getting on for ten years old. Shit time flies :hehe:

VXs are a lot less confusing then all the Elise variants.
2.2 n/a or 2.0 Turbo, pick the colour and away you go.
You can tell a lot about the previous owner by whether parts have been upgraded or not. When bits go, which they will do, you normally get a choice of buying somwthing that will probably break again or paying a bit more for something properly engineered.

The Essex in me ( a majority percentage ) quite likes that.

Then of course I remember that Range Rovers are FUCKING SHIT!! and I hate it.

A close call!

That Range Rover interior looks like the boy racer tat we had pulled out of Mrs CW's RX8 and replaced with black. I can understand it in a cheap Japanese car, but what are RR doing even allowing that to be built?
