Maybe this reaction would change if he started delivering some decent silver ware.

Its has been far too long for Arsenal, far too long.

Maybe it is time for a change? Who would you replace Wenger with though? Who would fit their philosophies? Would they live on post-Wenger?

Some weren't quite so humble in defeat......

A Manchester United fan killed four people in Nigeria when he drove into Barcelona supporters after his team lost the Champions League final, police have said.

Smart cost-cutting move by David Gill

Manchester United signs a four-year shirt sponsorship deal with the insurance giant Aon Corporation.

BBC are calling this the most blatant dive in football. It is quite incredible that he thought he would get away with it, and even more so that he did.

fcuk knows why football doesn't have video officials for such things like rugby does

I've linked to BBC rather than embedding the youtube video because the former includes quotes from Meneses describing it:
"I played with a little bit of vividness and let myself fall" being the best

Uefa just have, they are not in the EPL yet but used in lower divisions, also in the upcoming world cup AFAIK.

ETA-

The problem with them is they break up the flow of the game, Rugby is more stop start than football so less intrusive. Also on the evidence so far they don't help making marginal decisions any fairer.

Transfer deadline day, somehow I've been sold to Cowdenbeath FC, not looking forward to the next 9 months tbh.

A friend of mine's brother follows Cowdenbeath, for the sole reason that when he was a small child he liked the sound of the word Cowdenbeath when he heard it on the final scores because he liked cows. I don't think he's ever actually seen them play but he knows all about them and keeps up to date with their progress.

I like semi-professional football, a bit, you can see what they are trying to do and sometimes it works out, but mostly it doesn't.

I've taken to watching the local team, Ericeirense, semi-pro but genuinely well supported in town. This started when I had an apartment overlooking the ground but even now I go and watch occasionally, they even let you have a beer in the stands. The games are highlighted by a total lack of team play, some brilliant moments and because they are Portuguese, wild tackles and comedy displays of "injury".

It's great.

I went to this last night. My first game at the new stadium.
It is absolutely amazing. I think it must be pretty much the best stadium in the world and definitely one of the best nights Ive ever had out for football.
I got in at 3 am.

I don't really care about football (I only watch some World Cup games), but I happened to listen to the Watford vs Wolves game on the radio while I was out filling up the car on Sunday and caught the last 45 minutes, which was the best part.

I was born in Watford, I watched Watford vs Everton with my dad and grandad on TV. I wouldn't mind going to this final but I have absolutely no idea where to buy tickets, or even if I would be able to because I'm not a member of Watford's fan club.
