6 Nations 2015

Odd-shaped balls.

Well that makes it all interesting.

Hard to pick who is favourite now.
England have the best points difference but probably the toughest game
Wales have the worst points difference but the easiest

Hell, even France and Italy still have a mathematical chance of winning (at the time of writing). Would be wonderful to see Italy beat France and go into the final weekend still with that (albeit remote) chance

Wales-Ireland was a great game
England showed some true class and some true shitness

Well that hope died a rather nasty death.

How are things in the ID household?

Should make for an interesting final weekend with the top 3 all seeing just winning as not good enough

Well, I was going to lose either way: Italy lose- I lose. France lose- she's in a shit mood.

So it turned out sort of ok. She was happy but I had to watch the WHOLE bloody match instead of being able to have my Sunday afternoon nap.

She tried to cheer me up by reminding me that I was part frog so I was still a winner.

What the fcuk was that ID?

YOU are the Welsh connection for Italy, so whilst that might not make it your fault, you are to blame

You've let us down
You've let the Irish down
You've let Paris down

Turns out Ireland didn't need Italy's help to top the Welsh. Can England get the 26 point margin win they need?

Yeah, Scots were about as useless as Italy

All we needed you both to do ffs was lose by a reasonable margin. Rather than a record score. Was that too much to ask?

Though I think I know part of Scotland's problem - they have too many characters from children's stories in their team:

Fraser Brown is a teddy bear with a penchant for tartan
Tonks was in Harry Potter IIRC
David Denton, Adam Ashe, Jonny Gray all sound like they come from children's books too

ETA beating France by 26 pts would be a good result on any day.

Well they've made a good start anyway.

ETA- Good game, shame that player got yellow carded or they might have done it.

Another day, another ref and that would have been a penalty try for a collapsing the maul near the end.

A few marginal decisions over the day all ways though

With England's ability to score tries, if they ever learn to defend and have discipline then they will be a good team.

Well done those Irish

And as for the Scots. No words can suffice

Slight sour note. Some dickhead has a "homophobic and abusive tweet " to Nigel Owens.

As he refereed the England France match it would be a fair guess to say it was an England dickhead

Probably some football fan crossed over ;)

It worked perfectly.

Wales thought they had done enough but our last try fvcked their chance of beating the Anglais, something they didn't realise until it was all over. Joy- Wales happy happy... then sad sad sad! He he!
England were held by le Frogs enough to deny them the Championship. Good.
We didn't get the wooden spoon.
Frogs beat Italia so Paris was happy and she was happy the Anglais failed.
The inoffensive Irlandese won.

What's not to like?

I don't know if it was the chasing of the 26 points or the actual rugby but the France England Finale was one of the best games of rugby I've ever watched. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it and found it non-stop exhilarating/exciting.

I was at Twickenham for Eng/Sco and thought we'd been lucky to watch an exciting game but Saturday's was exceptional.

What the fvck happened? Can't I trust you to do anything? You couldn't even beat the Welsh to subdue them in public!

I was out in Cardiff on Saturday night thinking that all of the V.C. (Valleys Commandos) would have either gone to Twikernhams or stayed in their valleys to watch the game. Instead they invaded The Cardiff. Fat women wearing rugby tops who were scarier that the men and probably fought better judging by their scars, filled the bars and streets. Around 2:30am my driver (taxi) came to collect me amongst a sea of fat drunken women carrying their shoes. Feet aren't the best of things anyway but when they've been rammed into £2:50 plastic shoes, had to bear the weight of the moon for 10 hours, then been freed to walk along filthy pavements awash with piss and beer the result is stomach churning.

Thank you for this fvcking horror x 10,000:
(sorry it's sideways but her weight has pulled over the picture)

I can only apologise ID.
England's play was woeful in the second half. I used to be a very shit rugby player at school, so consequently am able to recognise very shit play.
I saw it right there!

Scotland decided to do the exact opposite against the US, had a hideous first half when we were losing when we went in for a suck of an orange then humped them in the second. It was a 2nd XV in the first half mind you but still, given we have two games against Sith Ifrica and Samoa to come is worrying given that both of those sides seem to be determined to break as many people as they possibly can and our replacements seem to be shit. Still, 10 points and top of our group.
