Car was mapped. Now it's kinda broken. It's in garage being fixed.

Shh KM you'll scare him away.

Put some oil and nuts and bolts on the floor along with a Halford's air freshener and he might come back.
We could train him to say more than a sentence at a time, get him to act normal and everything like a sort of "My Fair Lady" thing.

Then when we'd accomplished all that we could give him to Rod for Christmas so he could bugger him in half.

Trying to blow up the turbo. That means I have to replace it. Hopefully with an upgrade. I'm rather disappointed with its merge 260 horses of power. So somewhere in the region of an extra hundred would be useful.

But at the moment it seems like the centre diff is dying :(

Ah, the well known "fcuk the thing so it needs replacing so you can replace it with a better one on the sly" trick.

Hello :)

I knew you were just dying to know what happened next.

So my centre diff buggered u. This time i gave the car to a bloke who knew what he's doing.

He replaced the gearbox and prop with the correct one.

Done lot's of service bits.

Also changed the turbo for a td04hla 19t :)

i then had the car mapped at Roger Clarke Motorsport and got a grand total of

300.6 BHP!!!!

The .6 makes all the difference.

That's all then :)

I was getting fed up of the car so I went for a drive after work.

Then again the day after.

Then again this evening.

I love it again but time has come where it's getting a little tired so needs 'fixing'.

So I've replaced the front rear arm bushes and the front ARB D bushes then upto A Line in Dudley for some fast road settings on the alignment.

I really like this car. Spending far too much on petrol and going for randomn drives.

Even picked up a hitch hiker to demonstrate how great the car is.

I absolutely love that car, but I think if I bought it I would love it for a month and then hanker for less drama.

That version is the looker, it's the one after where they hit it with a big ugly stick. I still like them but my wants and needs have changed.

Anyone want a BG5 for breaking?

I liked the look of mine, but it was an estate/wagon. And everyone knows estates are cool. That Legacy model was smart but anonymous, which is nice if you want smart but anonymous.

e: now I'm on Auto Trader of course, looking at them again. Curse you, internet!

Mine was/is an estate too, definitely the best shape. I'm not too keen on the race-car look so something that looks bland is fine by me. The Litchfield twin-scrolls were nice but they made them look like racing cars, a 'Spec D' version would have been good.

I'm 33, 34 or 35. Somewhere about that.

I often think the same but really there's not many cars out there that offer such bang for buck (value for money).

And even then...

Audi - hooray for the understeer experience and just another guy with an Audi. Yes they are fast bla di bla...

BMW - unless it's an M then it's an also ran. The M's are expensive and the repairs mic so.

Merc - seriously overrated, yes great top speed bla di bla but yawn

Hatchbacks in general - I'm no longer a student

Tell you what I would like.

Another Twinscroll legacy spec B in white :)

I know a few folks who might be interested (but only if it's a GTB).

Mind you a BG GTB in white.... Mmmmm

So I came across a gentleman who had the same car as me. Refurbed his wheels and put a set of Falken Zeix 914 Tyres on.
Then he purchased some fancy wheels and sold his current wheels which I bought, fitted and sold my old ones.

Total cost was less than two tanks of fuel.

Hey, that's fighting talk man.

Why do you think the car is awful?

It must be the colour right? I'm not too keen on it either. I'd much prefer it in a more traditional JDM colour.

Like white mmmmmmmm :)
