Have you found the locking nut? It should be in a tray behind the panel with the net on the RHS of the boot...

Yep.. found it after taking all the bits out. Hides in a circular hole under the wheel brace.

2 Tyres and it passed MOT, now wants a service.

Update...

Clutch master cylinder started leaking which broke the clutch switch and made a bitch to start. £200 to fix that, EGR coked up and was about £170 to fix. Other than that. fcuk all.

I have borrowed a Defender 90 for a week, so it might disappear for one of those soon as they seem to be proper fun and more suited to chucking the dogs and associated horse bollocks in. Also new job under a mile away means it starts to run like shit after a week of pootling about.

I hope you assumed the standard LR driving pose - driver's window open & elbow out as there is no where else to put your arm.

The LR driving position of "Even a fcuking borrower couldnt spin full lock without tw@tting the window with elbow" was assumed.

Really good fun though, I think I'm a little bit of a poof and would prefer a Discovery in all honesty. Just a few more creature comforts in there and the budget wont stretch to a decent D90.
