I couldn't vote for anyone of them, ever.

Yeah, none of them impressed.

Tbh though these tv debates are, and always have been, utter shite. It’s an Americanism we ought never have succumbed to.

Yes....but....

It’s about the only time we will get to see them in public. In particular Boris who’s studiously hiding away in his bunker, what public scrutiny will he experience before becoming PM.

I think a better format is a one to one extended interview with someone who knows how to ask and pursue questions, like Paxman used to be able to and like Andrew Neill (who I loathe) can (but with his ego left in the dressing room please).

I hated it. I hated all the answers but I think I hated most of the questions more. The chair failed to control it well too.

Rory the best of a bad bunch, but all he's really do is raising his stock for the future.

I still think Hunt will win. I'm not sure why, but I do.

What's our best chance of avoiding Brexit now? Boris next PM, fails to secure Brexit triggering a general election, Corbyn fcuks off and Labour go with a pro Remain manifesto? Doesn't sound too likely does it?

Not really. Hunt is so far behind it send more likely Stewart will overtake him into second place. Agree Emily Maitlis totally failed to control the debate.

Of course she did. She's a girl and girls aren't supposed to do man things like politics - she should have been reporting about royal babies or something.

It needed a manly man to do it. Perhaps Javid and Stewart don't think like that. I'm pretty sure the other 3 do, and of those, I'm 100% confident about Johnson.

Hunt getting involved in endorsing Trump's retweet of Katie Hopkins (and his piss-poor attempt at walking it back) has made him look a bit shit, I think.

Why was there a debate when none of the public can vote on it?

Pretty much my view too. 'Here are the candidates, grill them, assess them, but you can't vote for them'.

I suppose it gives the public an opportunity to start thinking about which condiment they'd like to put on the shit sandwich they're about to be served.

Was thinking about this morning.

Why do we get shit leaders from Tories and Labour now? Because they are fcuking voted in

Tory candidates at least used to be better when they were decided upon in smoke filled rooms

How clearly is it that he's making it up on the spot? He's never made a bus.

Apparently this obvious bullshit about making buses out of cardboard wine boxes was a cunning plan to change the current Google search results about Boris’s bus strategy as London Mayor and the £350M claim on the side of the Brexit bus.
