It would be like Southerners writing barth inside of bath to denote how we're saying the word.

They think English written in a phonetic Scottish accent is a separate language called Scots. You can even get degrees in it and hassle people for not printing leaflets half in standard English and half in funetik skoatish axent.

Laugh
“Aye, they’re not that bad,” said one voter as he left the polling station yesterday completely oblivious to the Tory over his shoulder pissing on a homeless man while simultaneously dismantling the NHS

Also:

Many Irish people were frustrated Scotland didn’t vote the way they had wanted them too, displaying a poor grasp of the democratic process which probably explains why only 33% of the population turned out for the 2012 Children’s Referendum, and only 51% of people voted at this year’s local elections.

100% of the 30% of 18-25 year olds not registered to vote here in Ireland were critical of Scotland’s decision to vote No.

Shame the we didn't give independence by region. So Scotland would have Glasgow, Dundee, North Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire

We'd have Edinburgh, the attractive bits, and the oil. And some other bits.

Seems fair to me

Unsurprising

"What we have found is a very strong correlation between the Yes vote and a higher level of unemployment."

Draw your own conclusions from that

It would be fair to say the arseholes from both sides seem to have come out to demonstrate their stupidity in George Square in Glasgow.

Is that anywhere near our CTFers?

...I'll say one thing, the amount of fcuking loonies on my twitter feed has gone through the roof. English people rather than Scottish, doing things like comparing No voters to Nazis and much more similarly crazy shit. And there was me expecting the looney quotient to go down now it's over...

A small sample from FB.

Well done Kenny Biskup 57% yes. Despite the fact the result is unbelievable at least Glasgow and Dundee will forever hold our heads high. I will never regret voting YES and will forever remember what could have been if my fellow countrymen didn't decide to completely bottle it and through away our future. They have no idea what they have done. Tory/UKIP coalition going to give Scotland the promises extra powers??? Not a chance. Well done the NO vote! We will never forget today!

Based on early results, it's looking like dark times ahead, Scotland. Depressing stuff.

Seeing Scots jumping up and down and celebrating voting against their own country's independence. Woeful and depressing.

Finally going to sleep with a huge mix of emotions. Filled with sadness, disappointment and worry for Scotland's future.

As I mentioned earlier, seeing Scots jumping up and down and celebrating voting against their own country's independence was a woeful and depressing sight.

So much passion and optimism for a bright future was crushed by deceit, lies and scaremongering. Let us not forget, we are now likely handing ourselves over to a Tory/UKIP coalition too. Dark times ahead.

Are you fcuking kidding?

said one of my friends at about 4 am Aberdeen gave its resounding No

Guys, use the pencils provided, just incase. I asked the staff if pen was ok and they said yes to me, but now I am hearing other station staff saying that ink is not permitted?

Absolutely stinks this whole thing already ‪#‎rigged‬

Not really, I live miles away on the south side, its 25 minute train ride away and then a 5 minute walk, D is in the West end somewhere, a bit nearer but a good 30 minute to an hours walk to reach the fringes of the West End from George Square. These shit heads will be from the East End or Govan, shit places.

Scottish Nats - "We want a chance to decide!"

Westminster - "Ok, there, have a referendum"

Scottish Nats - "Damnit we lost... Right, we're still not happy, despite the turnout, and we are now miffed that people are talking about English powers. WE WANT ATTENTION!"

I was thinking about this the other day and it only just occurred to me that it isn't deliberate and that the people who do it are so thick they have to write phonetically. Similar with thick English on Facebook

I met Jim Murphy today, Labour MP for East Renfrewshire and a major campaigner for the No vote. I was out for a walk with the fiance and saw a guy unloading his car boot of No flyers and looking a bit hungover. I noticed it was Jim and said hi, thanked him for his efforts and said how we'd voted, he thanked us and exchanged a few pleasantries. He's a really nice chap and has put up with a lot of crap (and eggs) over the last few months.

Despite being a Tory I'm considering voting Labour at the Next Westminster election and Holyrood ones purely to keep the Nats out. Labour just nick my money, not my country and identity after all. I resent the SNP even more for causing me to have to consider this.

Knobs, only 38% of the voting populace actually voted for them despite a not very good No campaign. The yes lot campaigned to one another and convinced themselves they were going to win. The SNP only got in as a protest vote against the Iraq war and financial mess. They wont win anything close to what they need next time, especially without Salmond, last time he left them as leader they had Swinney and did nothing. They had 2 years and screwed it up.

As expected. Only annoyance was I didnt get a chance to place a bet on a no vote. Would have won easy. As others have said no doubt there will be a ton of bitching and campaigning to have a re vote.
