It's a tricky one, on the one hand I hate the face that Boris has been such a cnut to get the top job, but on the other a massive scheming cnut might be just what we need to get the best deal in this position.

Have any of them said they'll push back against the EU decision?

I think the rabid #Brexit (about 70 Conservative MPs) vote will be split between Gove and Johnson making it difficult for either to get in, has Johnson declared yet?

Interesting that Gove decided to go his own way, could potentially split a chunk of the vote.

I'd vote for T, in the hope she'd be Thatcher-lite and thus have a larger ballbag than the rest combined.

Gove is a nasty little cnut. I always hated him when he used to be on The Moral Maze on Radio 4. This email business from his vile Daily Mail columnist wife makes him out to be a total idiot too.

You need to add Andrea Leadstrom and probably Liam Fox, too.

Is Liam Fox a 2-for-1 offer with Adam Werrity?

It's as if they've all binge watched GoT seasons 1-6, and all come out into the daylight thinking "fcuk yeah! I've gonna use me some of THAT playbook! Mofos won't know what hit them!"

Gove fancies himself in the Littlefinger role, more pasty and weaselly, but similar value system.

I think he was a in an impossible position since whoever gets the job may well have to stay in the EU or do a deal that is effectively that, this will rift the Tories and possibly lead to a rise of UKIP, he also would not want to be the PM who watched Scotland walk away AND FOREVER BE KNOWN AS THE LAST PM OF THE UK

Agree, it is a total weasel move simply thinking of his own skin, unfortunately very typical of him

Quite. I don't think this episode will be replayed in a favourable light for him in the future.

Mrs Gove?

I mean, presumably she's let him into her secret place a few times. So she must think he has some good qualities.

I think 'beggars can't be choosers' was uppermost in her mind when she decided to shack up with the Gove
