Wore it to Italy twice.
It was super warm and received many positive comments from the fashionistas.

Sorry. Just telling you how it is.

But I'll forgive you, because you recommended circulon pans, and I need some new pans.

Even though I've already got two million jackets, and the weather has started enmilding itself now, I've bought another jacket.

It's a repro of an N1 deck jacket, but a cheapo one without the wool lining. So I'm hoping it will be warm enough for transitional use but not too hot to be wearing for the next few months. It's a heavy canvas one, not waxed, but pretty solid. With lovely elasticated cotton storm cuffs.

You know deck jackets. Well Dressed Dad did a thing about them ages ago. This is what they look like if you buy an expensive one:

e: it's ace, I forgot to say.

No I'm not. I blew all my money on another jacket and now I can't afford a fanny.

Transitional is when you can wear it from one season through into the next one, so I'm hoping this will do for the end of Winter and into Spring, and then through Autumn into Winter at the other end.

Except for when it's *really* bastard cold or pissing down I've been toughing out this winter in a lightweight summer jacket (Fjallraven, natch). It's my favouritest jacket I've ever bought, so I expect it to transition across 4 seasons.

That's dead versatile then, although because I like jackets so much I like to have lots to rotate. I've been in a parka, and then Barbour with the fleece lining popped in. I'll be risking the deck jacket this weekend though so will drop a sitrep early next week.

Stay on this frequency.

Does it come with a free packet of Werther's Originals for the pockets or do you have to buy your own?
