That's what makes those words so good!

What could be better than going to a do in slacks, with your bosom straining at your blouse?

Why you'd be the talk of the town!

Anyone else scarved yet?

What about a light chiffon scarf worn on a summer evening, perhaps with a tight t-shirt or crop-top?

You make a strong case Rod, I don't think I'm flamboyant enough to carry it off though.

Far too soon Rod. I'm still wearing just a shirt, albeit long-sleeved, and you're in a scarf already. Have you got circulatory problems or do you just feel the cold like the old ladies you see wearing hats and massive coats in the height of summer?

You sit on a bench outside the bus station on the hottest day of the year wearing a fleece jacket, fingerless gloves and woolly hat telling anyone who'll listen that it's a bit parky and you'll be putting the electric blanket on tonight.

Plus you know Dis, I've been to Scotland and I'd wear a scarf there in summer.

I implore you to start your arduous back-down now, while you still have time.

Maybe you need a drink to fortify you against your weak southern late-summer climate.

I'm not Scottish, in fact I live 11 hours* south of Scotland, currently completely sober and wearing a t-shirt outside. I've worn long sleeves once since April and that was because I had to go outside in the rain. It's not even remotely scarf weather, and frankly Rod, if that really is you, I'm disappointed.

*11 hours walk that is

I have been scarfing, but it's a floaty lady scarf, so it doesn't really count.
