It's also grey as fcuk and getting greyer, especially towards the jaw joint/ear area.
ETA: I have been forbidden from shaving it off by 'er indoors.

One of them actually cried when he emerged from the bathroom, smooth of face. And it wasn't even as if they'd never seen him clean-shaven; they were 5 and 7 when he grew it.

All the best people have big foreheads. It shows power yet humility.
ETA - I've just noticed it makes look as if I have no external ear whatsoever, which is more odd!

It's currently shorter because I tend to let it grow out and then run bare clippers over it back to stubble every week. So it's now midweeek and it's between the above and stubble. It's got grey bits at my chin.

If my hair was receding that much, I'd probably grow a beard too

Can't for opspec reasons. Certainly not publically.
We (new beard people) welcome advice you may have.

Honestly, I don't really do anything with mine.
I think it becomes weathered and powerful all on it's own. You know how women need to wear makeup and moisturise and stuff because their faces are basically shit, and yet men don't because they aren't? It's the same. If you pamper your beard it will turn into a woman's face and you'll need to keep pampering it.
Leave it alone and it will become forged of iron and be healthy and lustrous and all that stuff without intervention. I just wash it normally as part of my face and don't moisturise or a-thing.
