Sigh. Told you. Worrypants.

You didn't tell me shit. You were just protecting your own.

True. But your guy had already put me onto you. Because we have a network, and we know stuff.

Don't be surprised if you find on Friday that you've actually bought your existing house from yourself. We have our ways of dealing with malcontents...

I'm going to say yes you will. I think solicitors are lazy and incompetent but when they know a completion date is there and moving firms, funds etc are involved then they'll suddenly become half competent in order to prevent the shitstorm beginning.

I am purchasing somewhere at the moment and had a very casual mail from my Sol earlier effectively saying 'I'm off for a fortnight now but it won't change anything as the other sol is a complete cnut' where I was expecting keys tomorrow. Shrug. cnuts!

It's one of life's great feelings getting the keys and walking into your new home with all the excitement still there but worry over.

Tru dat. Boxes EVERYWHERE but we're so happy it's finally done.

The shyster solicitors >does side eyes at Greg< did their royal utmost to scupper it but we got in in the the nick of time. Removal guys were properly excellent. Our money was transferred at 12 but didn't get the keys until 3:30 >side eyes< so to make sure we got all unloaded they sent round more crews for no extra charge. There were 10 burly men in the end and they blitzed it.

Just dropped the price a little on ours. Now bored of selling houses, and just want to get an offer in so we can put an offer ("in a position to proceed", is the magic phrase, apparently) on the house we want.

I hate you all being able to move. I'm still trying to get my damn ex to take over the mortgage as she claims to want to do so I can move out. I've been in a 'position to proceed' except for that fact since June.

It's such a horrific thing to do, selling/buying a home. I don't ever want to do it again.

We dropped ours by a little too for a quicker sale to buy this place. It was on for X and we wanted to get Y. We dropped it to offers over Z and managed to get the buyer's up to Y.

However I'd recommend holding off on anything for now. As I've said the last time we bought it triggered global financial meltdown. This time it's nuclear war.

Too late. Instructed the estate agent on Thursday, and this morning Kim's just let off a hydrogen bomb.

Soz, everyone.
