Shorter page lengths?

Post by Turntable @ Wed May 23, 2018 10:18 am

Can you make the pages shorter Pidg?
I find when a thread is getting to the bottom of a page, every time a new post is made it is slightly annoying scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling just to see one new post which might only be a rofl at someone elses post.
Deal?

You can set the number of posts you view to a page anyway, iirc. Although I'm almost exclusively on Tapatalk nowadays, which has a tab for unread posts.

I didn't know about that!

Nevertheless, Pidg, please shorten the pages.

The orange box tip is ace. Thanks.

Perhaps Pidge could set TT's default page length remotely. Say to 5 posts a page. Or even fewer.

Pretty much all forums have the same thing. Even PH's, although theirs doesn't work properly, natch.

I need everybody's to be the same length as mine, of course.
I am utterly terrified of the situation, that will never happen, whereby someone directs me to page 30 of something and I cant find it.

For fcuks sake, don't do that.

As others have pointed out... you can set the length of pages for yourself in the user control panel. So both the long-page people and the short-page people can be happy.
