Cinema- NINE.... which is what happens when you go to the cinema assuming there will be something to watch and settle for this pile of shite and then have to push popcorn into your ears so you don't have to listen to Day-Lewis' worse than DolMio Italian accent. The cnut.

DVD- Goodfellas- well... what did you expect?

I've been playing Assassins Creed 2 a lot lately, set in 15th Century Italy. The english spoken comedy Italian accents are terrible

Cinema - Fame (shit, very shit)

That cnutting film stole two hours of my life and I want them back :ranting: Not even the presences of "Frasier" & "Lilith" were enough to save it.

Why do people expect shit like Fame or Abba to be anything other than shit?

Anyhow,
Cinema: haven't been for years. Might have been Casino Royale
Home: Moon. It wasn't very good.

I'm surprised TKF. I don't why I'm surprised but I am.
I liked Moon - the previous night I watched Solaris, which was kind of similar, and I liked that too.

Cinema: Avatar - which was dull and formulaic. Hated it. I am the only one who does though. Like I care.

Home: The Hangover - which was not as funny as I thought'd be. The classroom Tazer sequence had me in stitches though.

Cinema: Avatar in 3D. Looked marvelous and entertained me for all of its length.

Home: The Decent and Juno. Both first time viewings and both really good in their own terms.

Not very good is a bit harsh.

It was just a bit disappointing. Half way through I said to my wife exactly how it would end and that's exactly how it ended. Fine if you're watching a Segal but not for something that's meant to be thought provoking.

That's exactly what happened in my house with my wife too. I then proceeded to tell her how clever I was for predicting the plot halfway through. She got right annoyed by that!

I didn't - my wife like dance films. As far as I can tell they're all the same.

Watched 'THEM / ils' last night on BD (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0465203/), not a great film, it looks nice and is fairly entertaining but just kinda goes through the motions rather than drawing you in.

It does have Olivia Bonamy in, which makes it worth a watch alone.
