I like good short films, I'm even toying with making two. But, they'd probably be average and boring - like your post.

I don't have the money or time to make them excellent and this annoys me, because I really want them to be. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to creative stuff.

That shows that it was a worthy idea though. Perhaps you could shoot your example anyway?

I'm trying to fit in a CTF:Vegas reference and make it funny but I've failed.

A computer screen is not an appropriate medium for watching films.
I need to be comfortable, probably lying down with a cup of tea perched on my chest.
I cannot sit with my face 6 inches from a screen watching a film in a manner respembling a 90 year old woman driving.

It's 6 minutes long you gay.

I'll even post it below for you to watch/not watch. I don't care about you seeing shit!

I just watched Connected. It was quite good but I'm struggling to understand the oxygen thingies. I want to know how they work - how can someone breath someone else's CO2 or have I missed something?

Ah yes, Alive in Joburg.

Is that the short which became District 9? It looks like it.

Search for the 3rd and the 7th on Vimeo and then realise that everything you're seeing bar the sky, guy and a dove is CG. Blew my mind.

Much lower production values, but still worth watching.

http://www.videolandia.com/v/video/tren-bruja-koldo-serra

El Tren De La Bruja by Koldo Serra.

Sadly not subtitled though.

Plot from IMDB:

A man volunteers to take part in an experiment that attempts to analyse human behaviour under extreme conditions of terror..

Did anyone watch this ?

I thought it was really well done. I wish I had the subtitled version to know what the ending was all about though.

Subtitles / Script I would watch it before you read the script.

I thought it was quite effective. Nice.

Does ShortsTV not exist anymore ?
