They could have at least found a cast better looking than the original

Small known fact. I had an ex who was a dead ringer for Sigourney Weaver. And was as mentally balanced as her character when possessed in that film

No.

I refuse to even acknowledge any remake of BTILC.

Neither are remakes by I saw recently that sequels to Trainspotting and Human Traffic are planned. Adored them both so feel quite uneasy about what they'll do.

Same - although I am feeling very optimistic about TS2, no idea why.

Filming is well underway up here. Everyone and his dog (bar me, and my dog) seems to be an extra in it.

He might mean that Human Traffic was a remake. But I'm floundering with Trainspotting.

Ha. I'm obviously overcome with a bad case of reading things upside down Australian style. I thought you were referring my links.

I don't know whether to be excited about this or dismayed. I love the original - it's one of my absolute favourite terrible films - so I've no idea whether a new version has the opportunity to be just as rotten.

And to refresh your memory, here's the trailer for the classic original -

Anybody up for another Suspiria? The old one is amazing, but a bit intense and hard work to ever be a favourite film, so I'm quite interested in the possibilities of a new one. CG-M always gets a bit of an opinion bashing, but I think she's alright and might be a good fit for this.
