Am I the only one that thinks there hasn’t been a proper Bond since Roger Moore ?

Probably. I didn't think he was very good Tbh, and much prefer Daniel Craig.

No, I believe Alan Partridge shares that view.

Absolute cobblers dibs. Dalton was a great Bond. And when Pierce Brosnan started he was superb. Goldeneye was a terrific Bond film. And Craig has been part of a real reinvigoration of the whole franchise; Casino Royale as good as any earlier films.

Craig is alright despite his frozen face.

Brisbane was meh.

Dalton was awful.

But three rights make a left

I caught some of Goldeneye on telly recently and it has not aged well at all. The sound effects made me long for the old console game though.

I like Craig as Bond. But Moore is fab, yes. I think it helps my perception that he was such a great guy in real life. Properly nice, self-deprecating and funny bloke.

The Brosnan films properly sucked balls.

While I agree Moore seems a great person in real life, his comedy Bond was pure cringe, really lame jokes delivered with a glacial pace, the longer he filled the role the worse the sscripts became, sort of cofessions of a window cleaner crossed with benny hill crossed with the professionals.

Pidge is there a way to have a shortcut for [*]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=[*]

Then after the v= you could add the video address from the url, eg t4a2HFWPhow

Whatever the film is like, this is an excellent trailer I think.

So if Chris Pine gets resurrected for 1984 but isn’t around by the time of BvS/JL, doesn’t that mean he’s going to get bumped off again in this film?

One is bad luck. Twice is careless.

Is anyone going to see Cats ? The early reviews suggest it could be one of the worst things ever created.

Excellent review, and exactly what I imagined from the trailers it would have been like. I haven't seen it, obv, but moreso I can't imagine why anybody ever would. It looks AWFUL.

I missed this trailer completely when it first appeared. Perhaps my mind simply hurried past it averting its eyes due to my colossal screaming dislike (baseless!) of Kristen Stewart? Still, Kristen has subsequently pointed out to me that it's been directed by William Eubank who previously made The Signal which I loved to bits, and so I watched the trailer. To my hand-clapping glee, there's also a grizzled Vincent Cassel in there (swoon!) and strong Alien/The Descent vibes which make me mildly excited.

Have a look:

Well, here's a thing. Sony have made a stupid-looking Marvel film again, after the hilarious car accident of Venom. Sadly, while I heart Tom Hardy and he was off the hook in Venom, this one has Jared Leto, and I've always found him just a bit of a dick.

The premise of Morbius seems flawed, he has a rare blood disorder, fair enough, he seeks a cure for his faulty DNA using scientific research, fair enough. He tries to repair his DNA using DNA from vampire bats, does he at least try some DNA sampling from a healthy human first?
