What's the worst ever film you've seen in a cinema?

Some things cultured but mostly films and telly stuff.

Possibly something called "The Dark Crystal", but I'm not completely sure.

I remember that my sister wanted to see it and my mum asking me to take her (large age difference). But I can't remember one single blind bastard thing about the film itself, so I'm not sure whether it was so crap I failed to retain any impression of it or it just never got beyond the asking for some reason.

Let's try again. What's the worst ever film you've definitely seen in a cinema?

And anyway the Dark Crystal is a sublime bit of film making.

Neither. That would be Neverending Story and Labyrinth respectively. Dark Crystal was Jim Henson.

Blair Witch Project made me literally sick with all that shaky camera action and close up of snot candles. Came out of the cinema feeling incredibly nauseous.

In second place Salam Bombay. Depressing. Went with some friends and the plan was to go for a curry afterwards (really), but I just sat there and couldn't eat.

Con Air was awful, although that could just be because I can't stand Nic Cage.
The English Patient was an utter snoozefest and a waste of a trip to the iMax. Oh look how sandy the desert is on this massive curved screen... yep. it's still a massive, curvy, sandy desert with nothing ever happening...
Moonlight & Valentino. Dragged there by a girlfriend of the time, probably because Jon Bon was in it, showing how he'll never have a film career. Utter waste of an afternoon.

Genuine madness right there. It might be stupid today, but in 1997 with Cage fresh off The Rock, Con Air was superb.

Not seen it but Google reveals this

Nicolas Cage is his own genre. After studying the greats, he conceived his own school of acting. He calls it Nouveau Shamanic. Nic Cage is a shaman. He connects with a world of spirits, one to which only Nic Cage has access, and enacts for us what he experiences

Rampart, Woody Harrelson. Walked out of the cinema 20 minutes in. Just dire.

Rampart has taken on a kind of legendary status on Reddit after a total train wreck of an AMA (Ask Me Anything) with Woody Harrelson when it transpired that Ask Me Anything should have really been titled Ask Me Anything About Rampart Because I Don't Want To Discuss Anything Else.

I think I’ve seen Rampart but I’m not sure I remember it that well. Was WH a racist police officer?

It’s nowhere near the worst film I’ve ever seen, and it has a superb DMX choon that sample Ain’t No Sunshine on the soundtrack.

Sleepless in Seattle probably the worst I’ve seen at the cinema. Certainly the only film I can remember walking out of before the end.
