King Kong - the story is actually about how because the Gorilla is alone on the island it becomes really giant because it has uninterrupted access to the resources on the Island.

The "Fight Club" theory about Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which is that Ferris is merely a figment of Cameron's imagination.

I don’t necessarily think that Hughes did this intentionally, but purposefully? Maybe.


The interpretation of friends (TV series rather than a film so don't @ me) through the prism of Quadrophenia; Joey, Chandler and Ross are all differently expressed aspects of the same person, the same with Monica, Rachel and Phoebe. No link because I heard it over a decade ago.
