took the flyscreen off the 14 yesterday. been thinking about trying it without since i got it just hadnt bothered.
test rode it this morning, have to say i prefer it naked. my head gets pushed back a bit more but there is a lot less buffetting. wish id done it ages ago now.
makes the bike feel so small too, sat normally looking forward i cant see the bike at all. feels like im on a bmx

Makes all the difference does I reckon. We found putting the standard screen back on a Hayabusa instead of a double-bubble did the same thing.

Rather a constant push back on my helmet (steady...) than the buffeting you get behind the screen. Have ridden a 1400 without and it was a joy.

Bit soft and squidgy for my sportsbike accustomed behind, but lots of fun.

i never got on with leaning forward, even just enough for a RF so no real interest in trying a sportsbike. sat on a few & thought no i wouldnt even try to ride it. each to their own & all that.

Random pimpage of my toy.

went out for a play today as couldnt resist & after some tiny lanes & a 12" deep ford i took a few screenless pics, much nicer to my eyes.
