That's a bugger with bits falling off already, nice easy fix though.

Typical Ducati! Electrics let down by the connections - don't know if it's true but I was told once hat all the wiring and important bits are German/Japanese but the connectors are all Italian and therefore shit.

I had a Fiesta where the battery terminal lead snapped off. The car was built in Germany. The battery was British the wiring was German but it did have Pirelli tyres- Bloody Italians!

I had heard similar but wasn't sure whether to believe it, well now I do.
The connector I have replaced it with is at least twice as thick/solid so shouldn't happen again. Think I will do other side just in case.
