WHich motorbike looks better? Newer?

Of the following litre sports bikes, which do you think looks better, meaner and newer design? Interestingly (I think) one is a 2003 bike and one is a 2015 model of the same which I think is 4 generations later.

The second is newer, based on the headlights. They look about the same in terms of looks and meanness.

I'm not a big fan of the new R1's lights but love the rest of it.

Second one. The fairings look more aggressive. The black one looks a bit upright. And boring.

I'd need to see it fully transformed to its robot form. I'm just not sure.

Has anyone seen the new 959 ducati panigale? It's got a stupid massive twin exhaust can up the side like a 90's bike. Apparently it's because of emissions or some rubbish and non uk bikes dont have it or something. It looks well crap.
