I've been playing this for the last few days, amazing how compelling it is when the gameplay is quite simple but it cleverly mixes elements of different games together, maybe for me it's because the season is over so it partly salves the withdrawal of watching real games.

Fortunately I have done everything now so I instantly never want to play it again, which is a relief.

Also TKF is your friend who developed this an Aston Villa supporter? They always seem to finish in the top 6 season to season, quite different from reality, though the other teams are mostly the usual suspects.

What's your team rating like?

Higher the rating the more chances you get.

No. Spurs fan. Teams are given a strength rating based upon the standings from the previous season plus there is a random factor for all games. When those messages come up to say "Team having arguments" or "Team developing youth" they go up or down a notch.

He was telling me at the weekend that every day 150 or so people buy the £10 starbux pack. Nuts.

On a good day he'll get £6000 in downloads. Still only a UK based game and Apple are being cnuts about adding it to the global list for some reason.

We were in a bar after the Roses gig and chatting to some girls. I said to one of them "You know you're talking to a dotcom millionaire here?" She said "You've made a million pounds from the internet?"

He laughed and replied "Ha ha no I haven't. He's exaggerating. Just dollars"

I found out that if you start a new game rather than load an old one it transfers all your money, so I did that and started a new game from scratch but got all the skill levels up to max before I started.

Imagine Messi playing in the Conference South, that's me right now.

Not on iOS yet. At the moment he's just trying to ride the wave of this app and making tweaks. Next one is a special boot which helps you control the ball as it bounces along. It costs a lot (in-game) so he's hoping people will buy the starbux to get it rather than playing and earning the bux.

He's got a bunch of games on his website. He also managed to get one game onto Steam a couple of years ago which earned him a bob or two.
