I'll close the poll in roughly two days from this post. The monthly photo competition entries usually peter out (guilty), it happened rather faster this time, so I've had an idea.

Post your photos in Thorn's "Taken any good pictures lately?" thread, and at the end of the calendar month we'll have a poll and perhaps a conversation about whose photo, posted in the last calendar month, was the best.

No subject, must be taken by yourself, and must be "lately", so, three month limit, say.

What do you think?

Babysealclub wins, and you get to choose the subject of the next one, if there is one :)

I need to have words with those that voted after I'd called it.

Words.

If BSC doesn't come up with something in 24 hours from this post, and since you came second (you scored 2, BSC had 4, only 7 people had voted at the time) and despite the fact you were technically disqualified anyway for entering twice, you can come up with the next subject :)

Thanks Jesus.

I just pmd you a picture of your mum with my shoe in her. The photographer was your dad. You can see his face reflected in your mum's tears.

Laugh.

Hundreds of years from now space aliens will pick through these ancient texts and there will be much confusion.

"Well they obviously worshipped phallic symbols" all the i-archeologists will agree quietly
"And possibly King Cnut" proposes one of their number
"But what tragedy befell Turntable, Tokyo Sexwales and Disastrous that so many of their posts were deleted" they will all wonder; "was it punishment? some rite of passage, had they committed sacrilege"
