Is there an age related version of TTAV?

In my mind a 15 year old car should be rusty and look horribly dated - not at all like Me.s Alfa. In my mind that Alfa should be no more than 7 years old.

I had the GTA version of that car about 12 years ago. Lovely place to sit and I think the shape has dated well. Bargain price!

Any car that costs <£1k is cheap to me and one that looks pretty to me.

The words 137,000 miles, 15yrs old and Alfa terrify me but it's almost free.

For that dollar I'd risk it, if I needed it. Looks great.

I've got the 1.9 JTD Lusso version of this, the same blue

Good size boot, 60:40 rear seat split, comfy seats, good driving position, soft springs with stiff dampers, huge arch clearance, does about 50mpg.

Nothing's broken yet, but I spent about £800 on it (in maintenance/servicing) in 30,000 miles to get it to a point where I knew where I was up to in regards to servicing, and that it wouldn't leave me sitting on the hard shoulder on my way to work. So had the cam belt service (cam belt, water pump, tensioner, etc.), tyres, pads & discs done just after I got it

The only reason I didn't get a petrol one was the Alfa bulletin which suggested halving the cam-belt intervals on the petrol engines to about 36,000 miles. Even then, it was only about £300 every 18 months to do so.

I paid a fair bit more than this as I thought I'd be getting some warranty security from a dealer, but it turns out the warranty he provided is worthless as it doesn't cover cars over 10 years/100,000 miles old.

Mine's also done 2 'Ring trips and a day at Cadwell - and while not fast, it lets me go out in any weather (delivers the same time at the Ring whether it's dry or not, and is a great tool for my mates to see how the track conditions are without wasting £30 on a slow lap) and I'm not scared of using a bit of kerb/grass/armco to get me around.

That looks bloody brilliant Me. All i need you to do is find me a 4x4 in as good condition, for the same sort of money, and I'll take your arm off. Five doors, proper low range, thanks.

Sorry, o/t. Good luck selling the Alfa, it certainly looks les tits actuelles.
