2005 Renault Grand Espace Initiale 3.0V6 TDi

Post by Me. @ Wed Apr 12, 2017 9:13 pm

I might be selling the Renault Grand espace.... It's a V6 3.0 tdi and would more than likely tow a small block of flats. It's got just about every extra you can think of. Panoramic roof, satnav, cd player, remote central locking and access, climate control with individual door control, rear window shades, heated electric leather seats, tow bar, alloys, auto wipers, auto lights, rear Park distance control, roof bars.... On and on..... Seven seater with sliding seats. It goes like shit off a shovel for such a big lump of crap, but it's French.... So buy AA cover. It still looks quite good with the exception of some paintwork issues and a few dents on the left hand side. IF.... I sell it after the mot on Thursday it will be at £2000. It's a 2005 car with 110000 miles and massive amount of history. Pirelli tyres, etc. It's not a lot for what you get. If I don't get the price I want I'll just hang on to it.
30 MPG, 350 NM of torque, 180 BHP std. Oh....and being a Renault....the roof doesn't work.

Since getting the trailer for the race car, I'm all about towing.

I'm like a big-rig driver, virtually the same as Jack Burton and the Pork Chop Express.

I've always had a perverse soft spot for those. Until I saw the crash test results.

NCAP-
Adult occupant 5 stars.
Pedestrian 2 stars.
Wot you on abaaaht?

That's the first time I have looked at NCAP site btw. I am now going fart around on it for a while, seeing which are the best and worst crashers.

Ah me bollocks. Perhaps it was the Chrysler one that had all the protection of a wet paper bag.

Yes, I remember there was mild scandal that Tony Blair drove a Chrysler Voyager about the place with his kids on board, back when he was the supreme leader.

I'm just jealous because I can't drive trailers. I will also never rescue a member of the public, I hate those cnuts.

Yep sadly. Apparently a very pokey engine until it goes bang. Saab ditched it out of the 9-5 and did their own version of the GM 1.9 instead.
