Graham doesn't get to decide like that. It might well have worked in the shop XBOX but the customer has experienced faultiness in the product.

Faultiness that may re-emerge at any time.

Fault. Refund.

££ << I'll have that back please. Thank you. Bye.

You cannot seriously believe that????

Not only do I believe it. I have done it...and would do it again.

If I bought the Fezza, and I discovered it had an intermittent fault, within 24 hours. Yes I would return it. I would reject it and I would pursue a refund.

I would get it too.

Perhaps you would. However, you wouldn't have taken the Ferrari home, made a hooky copy of it, and then returned the original to the shop - which, although not the situation the OP finds himself in, is why you can't get a refund for a game if the shop can't see why it doesn't work.

Serious mode on.

Try selling it to someone who wants it but with a small discount.

Otherwise I'd cut your losses.

I would beg to disagree.

I bought a DVD a while ago that kept jumping from about 25 mins in to the film. It wasn't porn.

I took it back and they tested it, said it worked fine. I simply said that wasn't good enough - I had attempted to watch it and been unable to, and every other DVD I could find worked fine on the same player.

I wanted refund.

I got refund.

Refund.

You are 8 foot tall, covered in tattoos and have the hounds of hell on barbed wire leashes. Polarbert doesn't.

Replacement!

Isn't the truth that the only sense that the game is faulty is that it is shit? And by saying you bought the wrong one, you meant that you bought a shit game and you'd like your money back?

Seriously, good luck getting your money back on the shit game you bought.

Indeed. However,

replacement

replacement

replacement.

that's all you're entitled to via statutory rights, for a game that doesn't work; usual copyright policy. If there is any discretion on the part of the manager, then that will be lost as soon as the immortal words "I bought the wrong one" are muttered.

Could you not drive to the next town and try a different shop? I bought something from HMV Blackpool, and returned it to HMV Derby, no probs.

Surely a credit would be fine. It's long term after all.

I disagree. They are obliged to refund what is faulty. In this case a tangible item...a CD.

Eh? WTF I didn't post this!? :?
