Oh no! Where will the likes of Charles Singh, Julian Radhakrishnan and Rupert Wignesvaram work now?

Are they talking about call centres, or cold calling centres.

An employee suffered a heart attack at 23  is it likely he had an underlying medical condition before he started working there?

Well if they stopped calling me everyday they wouldn't get such problems.

I usually let them run their spiel, one guy was going on for 4 minutes about how much money I could save on my phone bill before he asked if I was interested. I replied...

Wait for this, it's a corker...

Absolutly hilarious, the put down to end all put downs

"No, I'm having a poo!"

I don't know anybody who has had a stress free phone call with an indian call centre.

My father phoned a Norwich Union call centre a few years ago to ask how Gordon Brown's recent announcement would affect the inheritance tax status of whatever it is he's got set up with them. They put him on hold for a good 5 minutes, then came back apologising because they'd not been able to locate a Gordon Brown working for Norwich Union, so they couldn't ask him what his announcement had been.

Very interesting.

Those who run the industry over there have only themselves to blame, frankly. Drive people into the ground, don't help them with training, don't give them (ouch my sides!) a proper work life balance, and there's only one possible result - the Indians are only human after all.

My work-life balance is a little... unbalanced.

Some of the Indian SIs I work with are actually saying that due to the crap value of the dollar at the moment, they're starting to find it difficult to compete with some of the US companies on cost! :yikes:
