Currently on book 1 of the Wool
fcuk me it's dark.
HOw did you find this? I loved it. Thought it was very clever and brilliantly done.
Went to order the second one to discover it is a PREQUEL. I fcuking hate prequels. What the giddy fcuk is the point of making a story where you already know the ending? I am too angry to get it and given that wool concludes itself all very neatly I am of the mindset to leave it at that.
I finished the first one and I did like it but not sure it really gripped me. I might give the next one a go.
I have a couple of recommendations which I really liked.
Lie With Me by Sabine Durrant. It's narrated by an utterly unlikable narcissist who persuades a group of acquaintances to let him tag along to a Greek holiday home but has an excellent twist.
Coffin Road by Peter May. Guy wakes up on a Scottish island having lost his memory. It's not a bad thriller at all.
The Darkest Secret by Alex Marwood. Horrible media family with a big secret. Very clever and shades of Madeline McCann.
