Chicken & Cheese

Post by tanglerat @ Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:00 am

I've got some nice roast chicken in the fridge and I'm contemplating what kind of sandwiches to make up with it.
It occurs to me, that cheese is never mentioned as a partner to chicken is it, like with ham and cheese or cheese and onion etc etc.

So, what kind of cheese goes in a chicken and cheese sandwich? Slice of cheddar, I daresay.

Cheese and meat is just wrong unless you're americano.

Good point. I stand Dissed.
All I had in my head was actual meat with melted cheese on top which is diabolical.

Parmigiano is the cheese.
Parmigiana is a dish of aubergines and parmigiano.

Can't beat a good cheeseburger.

I bet there's cheese on your CBP, ID. And I bet you eat it, too. In the middle of the night, illuminated only by the light from the fridge, with your fingers, wearing only your pants, whilst crying.

Shit, that got a bit more vivid than I was expecting.

It is, as long as the cheese doesn't overpower the burger.

I can't work out what's worse, cheese on a CBP or you thinking of me in my pants.

Anyway at night I am naked. No pants. Nothing. Continental stylee!

Almost any dish (chicken, meat, whatever) with Patatas Cabrales.

Possibly the best way to eat potatoes (and there is a lot of competition)

I do recognise that is not really a sandwich filling, but its so nice I decided to ignore that aspect

Patatas Cabrales is to cheesy chips as a decent Italian meal is to Dolmio

But perhaps you can't see the difference?

Hunter's Chicken has cheese on it, but is diabolical.

I suggest you replace the cheese in your sandwich with mayonnaise, and add so much black pepper that you can no longer tell that it's a sandwich.

I’ve had it twice and felt precisely as dirty as I felt satisfied.

Tell me you put s&p and a dribble of olive oil on them.

S&P, of course. No olive oil, found some leftover cranberry sauce from Christmas in the back of the fridge so used that.
