It depends on the circumstances.

True. In a restaurant I would probably use a knife and fork but I voted 'no' as I was imagining eating it at home.

Indeed, there should be a "sometimes" option. In my case the answer is "it depends how big and floppy it is".

My default is hands, but if too floppy I might eat the floppy bit with a knife and fork and the stiff bit with my hands.

So my answer is both.

fcuking stupid poll.

As with so many issue Pidge.

Fingers for me, unless it's really sloppy.
I'd be happy to pick up the odd slice of pizza with my fingers even at a pizza restaurant.

Pizza is finger food. Eating it with a knife and fork is the same as a banana.

Unless rendered impossible by flop.

I ate a pizza at a restaurant on Friday night. I used both knife and fork and my hands near the end.

Please advise on how I should vote.

The only time I'll use a knife & fork for a pizza is when it's too hot to tear/hold with my fingers.

So you don't even use a knife to cut slices - you tear it instead?! You monster.

The definitive answer is both, of course.

Firstly your pizza should be whole. If it arrives sliced you are either eating a Dominopizza, which is not strictly a pizza but just a cheeseshit on a plate/box so you can do whatever you like, but best just to flush it down the toilet and cut out the middle man.

So, you should cut reasonable (so as not to encounter slicedroop) sized slices with your knife an fork, and then pick these up with your hands and eat it. If it's too hot to touch, start by cutting and eating smaller mouth-sized pieces until it's cool enough to use the former method.

There. That fvcked that thread in record time.

I use my fingers too, it's much more satisfying i find. As with others i would use a knife and fork for the sloppy middle bits.

I love pizza with pepperoni, and chilli. Yum yum.

If eating in public, yes. Mostly at home too if it's one I've made. But if it turns up in a box, generally not.

I tend to favour utensils where most people will eschew them. I can't eat a kebab without a fork. Watching someone eat one with just their fingers makes me feel queasy.

That's nothing.
My mother... my own flesh and blood... has never eaten fillet steak.

Or had until I cooked her a lovely one just before Christmas. She asked me to continue cooking it till it was well done !!!
Even the kids ended up looking at her in a puzzled way (with blood / sauce dripping down their cherubic cheeks).
