Well an irrational annoyance gives me very little to aim my rebuttal at. Please consider they are not responsible for their fans.

ETA- to being the thread back on track here is their passable cover of the Joy Division song ceremony

The farts playing keyboards are really annoying they way they jig to the beat- they need a slap.
The girl has a very annoying moany voice- she needs a big bucket of cold water thrown over her.

Radiohead have little to do with this lawsuit as KM pointed out above Creep royalties partially go to whichever record companies owns the copyright on the Hollies song on which it is based (40% apparently). Whoever started this lawsuit will be either lawyers for the record company with publishing rights to Creep or the Hollies. Radiohead started as a band at least 20 years before hipsters were a thing again, so to berate them as hipster wankers makes you seem very Victor Meldrew.

Maybe in your boondocks, Strawm but this is London. Hipster central since Beau Brummell strutted his stuff in Jermyn Street and G4 was his fat friend.

Considering it was released in 1997 it’s absolutely not music for hipsters.

eta missed SM had already pointed that out

Got the radio cineola trilogy by Matt Johnson/the The for Christmas and have been haunted by Thomas Feinar’s cover of This is the day, one of my favourite ever songs. The rest of the album is a bit patchy with some inspired covers, some a bit too weird, but is highlighted by a new song by the The, “we can’t stop what’s coming”
